June Soup and Salad
We are really excited for our June Soup and Salad guest, Leah Dienes of Apocalypse Brew Works!
Apocalypse Brew Works opened in May of 2012, producing beer for the masses and for your survival! Our passion is in creating small-batch, fresh craft beer. We support sustainability with our solar-heated water, grain reuse, material recycling and the re-use of found objects and equipment used to build our brewery.
Leah Dienes is a partner and head brewer for Apocalypse. She uses her skills as a National Beer and Mead judge and her roots as an award-winning homebrewer to create creative brews with a focus on drinkability. A self-proclaimed "beer-evangelist", she enjoys teaching people all about beer, making it fun and educational. She's is quoted in several books for her work as part of the research and re-introduction of the Kentucky Common beer style with Apocalypse being the only recognized commercial brewer of this historic style in the 2015 Beer Judge Certification Program guidelines.
Join us for a lovely night of fresh air and beer tasting!
